Right, so I finally got off my lazy butt and made this happen. Finally an official member of The Rebel Legion. :)
As life trudges on and I nix out all the toxic things in it, I’m finding that events through the RL are more rewarding than the events through my saber group, which has started to forget about charity and focus more and more on being an OG theatrical group.
Honestly, I’m starting to not agree with the direction my group(s) are taking, despite liking all the training and skill developing that comes with learning how to fight (well) with a lightsaber. They’re losing sight fast. Some days I’m ready to close that chapter in my life and others I’m not. I’ll never put a saber down, absolutely not, and have found another outlet for that thankfully should I bid my groups adieu. It’s kinda hard, considering how I’ve been doing saber choreo for almost 3 years now, and put a lot of time and energy into those groups. I just have to remember that there is opportunity in everything.

DEAR TUMBLR

Oh wow. Hi. How have you been?

I’m so so so so sorry that I vanished into thin air. I feel like I abandoned all the lovely people I knew here, and to all my new followers, I feel almost like I ignored you. Nice to meet you!

I’ve been… going through some shit this past year. But I think I can finally work my way back into this place, slowly but surely.

OMG THAT IS OHHHHH

I know right??? All I did was laugh the rest of the way home because I never have luck like that!

Happy birthday?!?

This is pretty much how I feel about this birthday - lots of question marks and exclamations. Starting 25 out pretty well… yep… yeah…

WOW I’VE BEEN MEANING TO MAKE THIS POST FOR AWHILE.

On par with last year’s Philly Comic Con where I met Nick Gillard and had a training session with him, this year I got a chance to met Ray Park AND also ended up having some one on one time with him!

Holy shit!!!!!

After meeting him at his table twice and talking to him for a good long while, he told us when he was done for the day so we could come back because he totally wanted to see what we could do. So we totally did and soon we had a wall of photographers and it was awesome. He is so freaking rad, I can’t even properly describe how much of a nice guy he is. He kept recognizing me all weekend after I initially waited in line for him and kept giving me high fives and huge smiles. I mean, part of me felt like a jerk for just being able to pop past his line constantly and talk to him, but pfft whatever that was so cool.

He also loved the lightsabers in the above pictures (made by the guy dressed as Anakin) so we gave him one to play around with and he ended up stepping away from his table and flipping them around while everyone around him collectively creamed themselves.
