Working on more art, so in the mean time… have some older art! These were very belated presents for lovehlove year before last, all printed out in their 12 inch by whatever dimensions. I won’t fanart Supernatural for just anybody, so! Oh, god, I slaved over these for longer than I care to remember. Turned out cool tho :>
Wow the photoset really shitted up the quality.
Ughhhh Castiel turned out millions of times better ughhh.
sex on stilts
yes, hi

Just got back from saber class, too lazy and worn out from hardcore practicing a fight all night to change out of my workout gear, rofl. Gonna be sore tomorrow ahhh
I drew this for my grandmother for Christmas but since I finished it and printed it at work, I had accidentally left the finished file on my work computer. Back to work today so I can get to the file again, been meaning to post it.
She drove a school bus for longer than I have been alive, so school buses are her thing. So I art nouveau-ed the back of a bus. The entire family was too focused on how they think I drew myself to appreciate it though. Story of my life.
Yusuf just kinda elbowed his way up to the front and this happened. Nevermind that I have freelance work to do, nevermind that I have umpteen million WIP’s that needed my attention first since I haven’t posted art in weeks… When inspiration takes me, I’ve learned not to tell it no.
I do blame it on my love of the interiors of the Assassin Dens though, as you can see I got a little bit… carried away with capturing the atmosphere and all its fancy details. The hookahs in all the dens also make me think that Yusuf and the other apprentices need to trick Mentor into smoking some of the good stuff, if you know what I’m saying.
Look at me acting like I’m a pro at handling light.
Don’t know if I’m doing this Eel Gijinka thing right, orz. Just kinda did it in my style… which is dresses and art nouveau bullshit and pink. This is kinda weird, since it’s not all cutesy animu, roflwhatamIdoing
This piece. THIS PIECE. What you are looking at is the THIRD GODDAMN DRAFT of this piece.
One day, about a month and a half ago, I woke up and was immediately gripped with the urge to draw Loki - a character that I was only exposed to on Tumblr as I hadn’t seen the movie at that point. Seriously, gripped. I couldn’t do anything else that day except draw this guy. I had the most fun drawing the Mucha frame etc, and I got so far as to block all the colors in and start shading when I fell out of love with it.
So I redrew just Loki again, this time in his Avengers outfit (by this point I had seen the movie), got to the point of color, and hated it again. So it sat unfinished for a couple of weeks. I just couldn’t get the pose right for what I envisioned in my head. But now, now I think I nailed it!
I always liked Loki’s helmet because I have this weird fascination with weird headdresses that have horns (used to use them in my art a lot). Out of everyone in Asgard, Loki is probably the only one (besides the women I guess) that fits with my art nouveau style. I might try and do a matching Thor, and I definitely want to draw Lady Loki at some point. We’ll see ;_; I also kinda love the idea of Loki with a ponytail that I’ve seen only a handful of times in art.
ON THE BOSS, LIKE A BOSS. Overkill is underrated.
I seriously need more A-Team friends. So lonely.
So this piece was actually an exercise in cool colors. I generally gravitate toward warm colors, it’s just what my eye likes the most. While I don’t hate the cold colors in art or my surroundings, I do have problems using with them. I blame it mostly on the weird, acute Synthaesia I tend to have with blue, as there’s just something about using colder colors that brings me a sort of visual discomfort.
So this took a lot of work to make it look nighttime-ish. This sat half colored on my computer for months actually. @.@
Originally this piece was about escape, about wishing you could slip out the balcony doors in your boring or harsh lives and climb down a rope to be taken away. Often I find myself wishing for the same, mostly because the fantasy worlds in my head are beautiful.
So here’s my cute little Mage named Mateer that I played through Dragon Age Origins with - this is how she looked at the end of the game (Reaper’s Vestments and Oak Branch staff).
I almost feel heartbroken for her since blah blah blah, sheltered and raised in the Circle Tower, suddenly thrust out into a world that she has barely experienced only to then have all that world’s problems placed on her shoulders. THEN THE GUY SHE HAS FOUGHT BESIDE SINCE THE BEGINNING FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER, BECOMES KING, AND THEY CAN’T BE TOGETHER BECAUSE SHE’S A MAGE.
Oh my god. I don’t know, I got really emotionally invested/attached to my little mage and her friends, and it’s kind of embarrassing orz
~one hundred suns until we part~
Happy Birthday to me! Today I turn 23! (if we want to get technical, I’ll turn 23 at 3:15am). My birthday usually makes me melancholy because I no longer get to tear through pretty boxes with new barbies. I’m past all the milestones that people look forward to (16, 18, 20, 21) and only have the OH GOD I’M OLD ages to look forward to (25… 30…). But it is a good opportunity to get free stuff! Like dessert and a meal at my favorite restaurant. :>
Carnevale di Venezia Ezio
So this is inspired by all the carnevale stuff I’ve posted. I’ve always had it in my head to make a ridiculous, over the top poncy Carnival version of Ezio’s default outfit, but I lack the ridiculous amount of money to actually make that happen. So I guess I’ll have to settle with just drawing it.
It’s basically a mix of his normal clothes, plus the master assassin robes, with extra added fancy details that would be impossible to freerun in, hah. Gave him a bauta (casanova) mask instead of the more facially structured ones because it just looks far more badass.
I was all excited when I learned about the Carnival district in ACII, but then disappointed when I remembered that Carnival back then wasn’t as ridiculously awesome as it is today.
UPDATE: I’ve noticed a lot of reblogs about wanting to cosplay this, so I figured Tumblr would be interested in checking out the progress pictures of someone who is making this as a costume! :)
Have some, uh. Mermen… merdudes… merbros…
Based on this fic right here. I’m kind of embarrassed that I like it so much because it’s so weird, but whatever. I regret nothing. Sometimes a girl just needs a fluffy, frivolous mermaid story involving a favorite pairing.
Click through to the high res for the dumb little animated effect I tried rofl Or not, Tumblr doesn’t want to do it whatevs.
There will probably be some more merdudes cuddling, I’m sorry orz
I’m working on other art, I swear.
Tahl’s a librarian basically and a walking encyclopedia of the galaxy, so I made her into a ~*~sexy~*~ librarian. Gave her actual books instead of holos and data pads because that would just ruin the whole ~*~sexy~*~ librarian thing.
Squint and it’s really not even Star Wars orz
Altaïr taking a snooze in the courtyard of the Jerusalem bureau. I love the atmosphere in the bureau courtyards, what with the fountain and windchimes and dappled sun.
Here’s your belated Birthday request, Bere! <3
I hope you’re all happy :T
